Russ Underwood - Author

My path to becoming an author wasn't a typical one.  I graduated college with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and I worked the first 25 years of my career in the business world.  I worked in various areas including public accounting, private business, and health care.

Burned out and unfulfilled from working in the business world, I wanted to try a totally new career.  Based on writings I did for my wife Mary, she encouraged me to consider writing a book. I have always thought about writing a book but always seemed to talk myself out of it. In the end I took Mary's suggestion and here we are. The end result was "the One."

 

I followed "the One" with my latest novel "Gemini." It's a romantic suspense love story set in Rosemary Beach, Florida. I'm currently writing my third and as yet untitled work. I hope to release it by the end of 2018.
